It began with a single pour…
MHER Resin Studio is a small, handmade studio built one pour at a time. Every piece that leaves my table carries a little of my patience, a lot of colour, and a story that belongs to the person who receives it.
— Aqsa Hanif
Where it all started
I was a student who could never walk past a stationery shop without stopping. I loved colours, I loved handmade gifts, and I loved the look on someone's face when they received something made just for them. Long before resin, I was the friend who wrapped presents a little too carefully.
My first experiments with resin happened at home, on a corner of my desk covered in newspaper. I watched tutorials late into the night, saved up for my first small kit, and poured my first mould with shaking hands and far too much excitement.
Honestly, those first pours were not pretty. There were bubbles everywhere, pieces that stayed sticky for days, colours that turned muddy, and moulds I ruined by rushing. Each failure taught me something — measure precisely, mix slowly, respect the weather, and above all, be patient.
The first piece I was truly proud of was a small keychain I made for a close friend, with her initial and a few dried flowers sealed inside. She still carries it. That little keychain is the reason I kept going.
Soon friends and family began asking for pieces of their own — a coaster set for a new home, a name plate for a nikkah, a keepsake for a mother. What started as gifts slowly became orders, and I shared my work on Instagram as Mecasih Resin Art.
Over time the work grew, and so did the dream. Mecasih Resin Art became MHER Resin Studio — the same hands, the same heart, and the same promise: art in every pour, made slowly and made for you.
The journey so far
2021
A small resin kit, a corner of my desk and a lot of curiosity. Many bubbles, a few sticky disasters, and one tiny piece I couldn't stop looking at.
2022
A message from someone I had never met, asking for a custom keychain. I read it three times before replying — it was the moment a hobby became something more.
2023
One hundred pieces packed by hand and sent across Pakistan. Every kind review and unboxing message is saved on my phone to this day.
2024
I was trusted to create a resin Quran Rehal — a piece that asked for extra care, extra prayer and a lot of patience. It remains one of my most meaningful commissions.
2025
The page that began as Mecasih Resin Art grew into a studio with its own name, while keeping the same handmade heart behind every piece.

How I make each piece
Eight slow steps between your idea and the piece in your hands.
Every piece begins with a conversation. I ask about the person, the occasion, the colours you love and the feeling you want the piece to hold, then sketch a design and share it with you before I begin.
Colours, names, dates & inclusions confirmed
I clean and dry each mould carefully and set up a dust-free, level workspace. Resin is honest — it shows every speck of dust and every tilted surface, so this step matters more than it looks.
Gloves, mask, level surface
I measure resin and hardener exactly by ratio and mix them slowly, scraping the sides so everything blends evenly. Mixing too fast invites bubbles, so I take my time.
Precise ratio, 3–5 minutes of slow mixing
This is my favourite part. I add pigments, mica, gold flakes, dried flowers or your chosen keepsakes, placing each detail by hand until the design feels just right.
Pigments, flakes, florals & keepsakes
I pour in thin, careful layers, gently releasing bubbles as I go. Larger pieces are poured in stages so that every layer settles clearly and evenly.
Layered pours, bubbles released by hand
Then comes the waiting. Each piece rests undisturbed, covered from dust, while the resin slowly hardens. Rushing this step is never worth it — I learnt that the hard way.
24–72 hours
Once fully cured, I release the piece from its mould, sand the edges smooth and polish it until it shines. Every piece is checked in the light before it is approved.
Hand-sanded edges, final quality check
Finally, I wrap your piece with protective padding, add a small handwritten note and pack it securely for its journey to you, wherever you are in Pakistan.

Why resin?
“Resin taught me that beautiful things cannot be rushed. Every pour holds a memory, a colour, a name — and when it finally sets, it keeps that moment safe forever.”

Behind the scenes
What we believe
Every piece is poured, sanded and polished by hand in my studio — never mass-produced, always made one at a time.
Names, dates, colours and keepsakes — I shape each design around the person and the moment it is meant for.
Resin needs time to cure and time to be done right. I would rather take an extra day than send you anything less than my best.
Clear prices, realistic timelines and honest updates. If something isn't right, I'll tell you — and I'll make it right.
With love
Have a name, a date or a memory you'd like to keep forever? Tell me your idea, and I'll pour it into a piece made just for you.
